I have been in Residential Real Estate Appraisal since 2001. Seventeen years. It really doesn't seem as long as it sounds to me. There has been good and bad but way more good than bad. Since the time I started appraising I have covered the same geographical area which includes all of Caddo, Bossier, Webster, Claiborne and Bienville Parish. I of course do appraisals in Shreveport / Bossier City as well as Haughton and Minden but I also cover the rural outlying areas as well. I have always went to Homer, Haynesville, Ringgold, Plain Dealing and the Springhill / Shongaloo area in North Webster Parish. During this time I have done appraisals for lending purposes, buying, selling, estate appraisals, divorces appraisals, tax appeal, manufactured homes and vacant lots and land.
